Fran your Chef will produce fresh cooked meals of the highest quality with a truly international flavor.

Stu your Captain will be happy to let you take the helm of TIBS, take you diving or surfing and even filet the fish you catch.

We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, solar panels make a lot of the power we use, we produce our own water which we then filter again and serve from a spigot after being refrigerated so we use no plastic bottles on board. All of our refrigeration systems are highly efficient and use minimal power which means less generator noise and pollution.

We have a 9.8Hp engine on the dinghy which allows you the freedom to explore the lagoons on your own AND a 25Hp Dinghy for Watersports.

The Audio-visual set-up on TIBS is spectacular, there’s a 100″ projection DVD player with surround sound for movies in the evenings, Wii games console with Wii Fit and a formidable DVD collection. We have around 5000 Songs on the computer and you can bring your own music or favorite DVDs

About Panama
Panama lies at the crossroads of two Oceans and two Continents, the diversity of wildlife is stunning. The people are genuinely friendly and Panama is one of the safest places in Central & South America according to a recent News-Week survey . The government is a stable and progressive democracy that recognizes the importance of tourism.

The local currency is the US$ but the locals call it the Balboa. Health-Care is excellent and you can even drink the water!

Travel to Panama is simple from the US and you don’t need a visa, just a $5 tourist card for US Citizens. You can fly there from at least 8 US Cities.

If you have time at either end of your Charter you should take time to visit the Canal. There are tours available and even a trip on a day boat to transit the locks. Panama City is vibrant at night, especially the area around the Amador Causeway which is full of excellent restaurants and night-life.

The Bocas del Toro Archipelago
Bocas del Toro (The Mouth of the Bull) is about 30 miles from the Costa Rica border, it’s latitude is 9 degrees North which puts it several hundred miles below the Hurricane Belt. There are a lot of similarities between Bocas del Toro and the BVI’s, sailing is inside a well protected area with many deserted and picturesque anchorages. The sailing is generally line of sight and has similar conditions to the Virgin Islands with short distances between islands.

However, this area offers a whole new range of experiences and cultures. It has a tropical climate, with temperatures in the 70 -90 degree range but it still enjoys some of the Caribbean Trade Winds at certain times of the year. The ‘official’ dry season is from December to May but July and August have a partial ‘dry-season’ (Which means that there are a fair number of days without rain) The wet season is very similar to the Virgin Islands with some rain in the afternoons for an hour or two (sometimes longer and sometimes torrential) but it usually clears away quickly. In Bocas these rains are seen as a good excuse to go to ‘Happy Hour’ at one of the local bars! We were in Bocas in September this year and had some memorable happy hours!! It’s a really fun and exciting place to visit.
